Pitched Chrome Extension — Privacy Policy

The Pitched browser extension gives Pitched users quick access to their own company's CRM — searching and creating clients, booking appointments, logging service calls, and (in Gmail) looking up contacts and tracking sales emails. This policy explains what the extension accesses and where that data goes. It supplements the main Pitched Privacy Policy.

What the extension accesses

• Your Pitched account & session. When you sign in, the access and refresh tokens issued by Pitched are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage) so you stay signed in. These tokens are sent only to the Pitched API (api.pitched-app.ca).
• Gmail page content (mail.google.com only). The extension reads the sender's name and email address of the email you have open, so it can look that contact up in your CRM. When you choose to track an email you are composing, it modifies that message to add an open-tracking pixel and click-tracking links. It does not read, copy, or transmit the contents of your mailbox beyond the action you take.
• CRM data you create. Clients, leads, appointments, service calls, and tracked-email metadata you enter through the extension are sent to the Pitched API to carry out the action you requested.

Where your data goes

Data is sent only to Pitched's own backend (api.pitched-app.ca) to provide the features above. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. All processing follows the main Pitched Privacy Policy.

Permissions & why

• identity — to complete "Sign in with Google".
• storage — to keep your session tokens and preferences in the browser.
• Access to api.pitched-app.ca — to read and write your CRM data.
• Access to mail.google.com — to power the in-Gmail contact lookup and email tracking described above.

Your controls

Signing out of the extension removes the stored tokens from your browser. Removing the extension removes all locally stored data. CRM records are managed in the Pitched web app.
